I can't speak to the event since I wasn't there. Physical violence is never the answer and if you were the victim of an unprovoked assault and have suffered some injury worse than embarassment, it is clearly a matter for the police.
We all desire unconditional support from our parents, but worrying about the appropriateness of other people's feelings is crazy-making. They feel how they feel. There is a school of thought that you bear some responsibility for the incident. This is not to say that it was your fault, but perhaps you stayed too long in an escalating environment. If there was absolutely nothing you could have done to avoid this, I'm sorry for your troubles. The desire for revenge is great, but it can eat you up inside. Be the bigger person. Move on if you can.
Publically execute you. Lol. :D no they won't.

Yes, consisting that they have reasonable evidence to enter the home under the appropriate legislation, they can enter the home. Once it is evident that parents or carers over 18 aren't home the police will attempt to make contact with them, or arrange to meet, or come round another time. If the police are after the juvenile themselves, depending on their age they may take the person to a police station and arrange for parents to meet at the station.

You will need to visit or mail the appropriate forms to your local police department.
Search warrants or arrest warrants are issued by judges on the request of the police. If you (or your family) have been the victim of a crime, you should report it to the police. It will be their job to investigate and take appropriate measures, which may include arresting someone.
