If you have an 1986 trans am with of course a 305 what can you do to obtain 300 or more HP out of this engine please include cam specs?

firt off despite what a lot of 305 haters will tell you 300+hp on a 305 is very possible i suggest going to engine masters.com and punch in 305,they took a stock 305 rated at 160hp and pushed it up to 372hp by adding bigger bore heads 1.94/1.50 inch vaulves and a hydrolic flat cam 224/230 degrees,duration 0.050, lift 0.477/0.480 110 lobe separation {$113.00 comp cams} and toped it off with demon carb and headers! 372HORSES FROM A 305!
