this is tricky. Sit her down and tell her that you have something very important to tell her. Go in there ready to expect anything. dont have your hopes up too high, just be ready! Start off softly dont blurt it all out in the first few seconds, take your time and ease into it. Explain how your friendship has grwon over the years and that you feel you have become connected. She will probably agree with you, but not in the way that you think. The gently tell her how you feel. Be ready for mixed emotions. It may appear as a real shock to her and she may be awe struck, if she is try to calm her down and try to have a conversation about it, discuss with her why you feel this was and that you don't want the relationship to end. If she is truly your friends she will learn to cope with it and help you. you never know, she might like you too.
