NO, If your brakes were serviced correctly then they will not be out of line. Have your brake system inspected by a professional. If something is wrong, doing what you describe may cause you to loose control of the vehicle if the brakes lock up.

Why does your car shimmies when you apply the brakes?

Your rotors are warped. You will need to have the rotors turned or replaced and new brake pads installed. Warped rotors are caused by over tightening the lug nuts or by excess heat from high speed stops or riding the brake pedal.

What does the abs light on in a 2009 Kia Sportage mean?

ABS usually means the anti-skid for braking , so if the light is on you have a ABS brake problem. The front brake rotors send speed signals back to the computer so the computer can calculate not really the speed, but in a way it does, for revolutions of the rotors and a quick change in ABS signal to the computer along with a brake signal makes the brakes pulse instead of locking up help preventing skidding.

Why would a car shake after getting new brake pads and rotors?

Since you didn't specify WHEN it shakes (high speed, when using the brakes, low speed???) here are a couple possibilities:wheel balance, worn suspension, worn steering linkage, bent wheel, defective tire. And if it only occurs when you use the brakes, it could even be a faulty rotor even if it IS supposed to be new.

Why am I getting high speed vibration on my 1995 Toyota Camry when it has new tires wheels have been rebalanced it has a new alignment and the shocks are good?

A couple possibilities to check out are the lower control arm/ball joint assemblies or the brake rotors. On the Camrys, warped brake rotors along with mediocre quality brake pads is a common cause of high speed vibration. The solution - new brake rotors and preferably ceramic brake pads which will help solve the noise, vibration, and harshness. Alos, make sure all nuts and bolts are torqued to proper specs.
