Is Salt Lake City where most American Mormons live?

I live in salt lake and would say it has the largest concentration of mormans as percentage of total population. But most mormans in the US live out of slc. Out of utah in fact. ---------------- No, definately not. While Salt Lake City is the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church), most American Mormons live outside of Utah. (There are 6,060,000 baptized Mormons in the United States, and 1,884,000 of those live in Utah.) So, less than 1/3 of American Mormons live in Utah. Most Mormons in Utah live outside of Salt Lake City. The city itself is actually quite liberal and diverse, and the homes are small and expensive compared to the rest of the state. The suburbs surrounding Salt Lake City are where the majority of Mormons in Utah live. Some of the suburbs are more than 90% Mormon. About 80,000 of the 6,060,000 American Mormons live in Salt Lake City, which is just over 1.3%.

How Mormons live in massachuetts?

Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in Massachusetts live just the same as Mormons most anywhere else. Mormons blend with the culture of their community, live in typical homes, dress in typical clothing, and have typical jobs. Mormons do tend to be very religious and believe that worship is the way you live your life, not just what you do at church. Mormons often hold daily family prayer and scripture study in their homes. They believe in clean living and avoid smoking, drugs, alcohol, and coffee. While Mormons still wear the fashions of the day, they avoid revealing clothing or 'extreme' looks. Mormons also devote much of their time to service both in the community and in their congregations.

How can Mormons or Utahns in general support their large families and live in big mansions with only one income?

Frankly, most Mormons do not live in big mansions. Most of the Mormons are extremely stressed out as evidenced by Utah having the highest rate of depression in the United States (U.S. Census 2004-...). They also have a high divorce rate and more and more wives have to work to make it economically.

Why are all Mormons liars and yet not all liars are Mormons?

This question is based on an incorrect supposition. Not all Mormons are liars; most Mormons are not liars.

Where did the Mormons?

Today there are nearly 15 million members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) living all around the world. They do not live in 'groups' but out in regular society. Historically, Mormons did tend to live in more of a group or community settings. This is because they had faced much opposition from outsiders. Most of these communities were in the western United States, and area which still has a high concentration of Mormons.

How did the arrival of the Mormons effect the U tes?

The Mormon pioneers and the Utes got along quite well. Of course there were a few incidents but for the most part the Utes recognized that the Mormons were in a similar situation with most Native American groups - kicked out of their homes by the US government and in need of a safe place to live. Because of this they were usually quite welcoming and helpful to the Mormons.

Do Mormons live in Bethlehem?

If you are referring to the Biblical city of Bethlehem in Israel, yes, there are a handful of Mormons in Bethlehem. Mormons are forbidden from proselyting in Israel, however, so it is difficult for the Church to grow there.
