The northeastern section of the United States, if one includes New Jersey & New York to the New England States has developed a large manufacturing base. It has also developed in Boston and New York City a huge financial center with banking and insurance.
The area has also developed a large seaport network. Large docks in NY and in Boston.
From Massachusetts
and north from there is a large fishery industry, especially in lobsters.
