The 2004 Volvo S80 had a mid-year production change that effected the wiper arm attachment, not the wiper blade length. This means you have to be very careful to buy the correct wiper blades with not only the correct wiper length but correct wiper attachment.
There are others available, however I know of one "fool proof" blade that has the proper attachment for both the early and late production 2004 Volvo S80: Trico Tech Beam Blades. They are available online.
Note, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size' to avoid the headaches of buying the right lengths with the wrong attachments.
Additionally, the installation process is simple. The replacement wiper blades will come with step-by-step, illustrated removal and installation instructions and once you have the instructions and the wiper blades/arms in your hands and in front of you, it will all make better sense and will an easy maintenance task. Very simple and takes 5-15 minutes usually not requiring any tools.
