Assuming you are asking about a model year Mazda b series truck86-93.Simply it is probably the dimmer switch that rolls up and down to the left hand side on the cover for the dash cluster. To see if it is defective remove two screws on the top above the clear shield covering the gauges and two screws behind the steering column (light switch and wiper arm assembly).Just remove them pull it forward disconnect the two plug harness that is to the left hand side at the dimmer to lighten or darken the gauges and use a jumper wire in the plug.Any auto wiring will do fine, just place one end in each end of the terminal that plugs into the dimmer and turn on the lights it should work. This simply grounds the circuit to verify the switch is probably bad or has poor contact. You can clean the dimmers terminals with sandpaper and reconnect to see if it was just loose or dirty.Either way this will answer the issue and it will be a bad dimmer switch or poor connection.Worst case there may be a short in the wiring going to the dimmer,at that point more electrical diagnosis would be required.
turn the headlight knob to bright
The panel light dimmer switch is turned off. The panel light fuse is blown. The panel light bulbs are blown out.
electrical issue
im having the same problem.. changed the bulbs, changed the fuse.. took the switch apart and put it back together
Has the instrument light dimmer wheel, beside your headlight switch on the dash been rotated down to the lowest position ? Or, if you mean your warning lamps, I know that on my 1995 there is a 10 amp fuse in location # 11 , in the fuse panel on the driver's end of the dash panel (visible with driver's door open) for the warning lamps.
no no no no they are not the same 94-up same try the gmc typhoon panel it looks cool and sould fit u just wont have the boost gauge
Replace the Flasher Relay. Located Front seating area, driver side, behind left hand side of instrument panel, on fuse panel.
well then it seems like you have a problem!
it sounds like the instrument cluster went bad
take the the black thing around it and then take it out dont worry it wont brake
Bulb is blown or has been removed.
it is obviously broken. you'll need a new light fixture
