Yes, of course your Mazda dealer can get you one, but for a ransom (close to $60), and apparently no after market parts house or discount parts store has'em. In addition, the door handle should not have broken in the first place, so it would be nice if the Mazda part was a stronger one, but it isn't, it is the original part (which may break just as well). Not too cool.

Hi! The fuel doors are not the same size.
I'm assuming your question is asking how to take off the door panel of a Mazda protege. That answer is simple. There is a screw behind door handle opener. Unscrew it. There are two screws under the door handle. Lift it off and unscrew them. When you open the door, you will see a cap, take this off. There is also another cap on the side of the door panel, tear this off and say goodbye to it. There may be more hidden screws, but I don't remember. Lift the door upwards to unhatch it from the top. Slowly start to pull it off, but not all the way. Unhook the electrical stuff, then you're good.
Look in your owner's manual and on the driver's door post.
how do you install spring on interior door handle of a 98 chevy pickup

To replace interior Ford fusion door handle you must remove the door panel, take off the old handle and replace with the new one, and then replace the panel back on the door frame.
Take your car to the closest Mazda dealer and get it fixed there. They charge only 1 hour ($60) for the labor. I did it last week, by the way, what it is expensive is the handle !!!. Otherwise, remove the two screws (handle and pocket) and unplug the panel starting from the bottom. The problem is not removing the side panel, the problem is replacing the handle itself.
The interior door handle on a Hyundai latches onto the locking mechanism of the door. First remove the old handle by unscrewing it from the door panel. Pull the handle out and remove the locking wire. Install the new unit with the locking mechanism in place. Tighten the mounting screw.
The car beeps to let you know your door is open so you don't drive away while your door is open or ajar
