Why is badly degraded genomic DNA a poor source of genes for cloning experiments?

the bases are all degraded, which means that the information needed in the degraded DNa will be unreliable, error-prone, damaged enough to inhibit replication or even if it does replicate, ensure reliable wild type translation of functional protein products

Why DNA become degraded in the cytoplasmic area?

An enzymes called nuclease ( nucleic acid degrading enzyme ) degrades all DNA that is not protected, such as DNA in the nucleus.

In Jurassic Park How did the dinosaur DNA last millions of years without getting naturally degraded?

Because it was scientificly innacurate!

How can you use degraded in a sentence?

The degraded condition of the old building made it unsafe for occupancy.

Enzyme used to position nucleotides during DNA replication?

DNA polymerase

When was The Degraded created?

The Degraded was created in 1980.

What is the duration of The Degraded?

The duration of The Degraded is 1800.0 seconds.

Why T-DNA is not degraded by plant cell?

T-DNA, which is part of the Ti plasmid, is protected by vir proteins (encoded by vir genes also present on the Ti plasmid) after it is excised. Plant restriction enzymes cannot attack T-DNA bound my vir proteins since the enzyme cannot gain access to the interiors of the DNA.

What is the difference betweenDNA and RNZ?

DNA is deoxyribose nucleic acid and RNA is ribose nucleic acid. The difference is there is no hydroxyl group on the 2' position in the sugar of DNA. DNA is double stranded. RNA is single stranded. And in RNA the base thymine is replaced with uracil.

What is the verb for degraded?

The verb for degraded is degrade. As in the action "to degrade something or someone".

How is DNA like executive position?

The cell's main offfice is the nucleus (DNA) which makes plans for what the cell will do and then orders it done.

What sugar is found in DNA and RNA?

In DNA, the sugar found is 2-deoxyribose. In RNA, the sugar found is ribose. Both are 5-carbon sugars. The only difference between them is that the first mentioned above has one oxygen atom less than ribose sugar, at the position 2'.
