NO. GB is an island. Germany is in Western Europe. It has a lot of countries around it. To name a few of them: In the south: Switzerland and Austria. In the west: France, Netherlands. In the east. Poland and in the north Danmark.

No. Germany is its own sovereign country. However from 1945 until 1949, the UK did occupy and administer a quadrant of what would become West Germany when unified with the French and United States administered quadrants after World War 2. The Soviet (Russian) sector became East Germany. Germany was reunified on March 15, 1991 (56 years after it was conquered by the allied forces). This happened following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact countries.
