It is possible ONLY dependent on the type of processor. MAC and Intel got together and worked out the Microsoft kinks to allows MAC to run on an Intel processor. It is not really a good idea to do this unless you are a computer guru due to the fact there probably aren't mac drivers to control your devices.

First of all, AMD took Intel's idea of a small, perfect, processor and turned it to garbage. Intel stuck with the original idea and look where they are now. Top of the food chain. The Intel i3, i5, and i7 are probably the best series out there right now for the middle class. Not too expensive but great performance. AMD is absolutly over-priced trash. Their GPC's really suck, trying to beat NVIDIA, but that will never happen. Just saying.

It should be fine. Before someone says its based on old Pentium technology, it isn't. The new Intel Pentium Dual Core processors are based on the Core 2 Duo core architecture (Merom-2M). However it doesnt share the same amount of cache as the Core 2 Duo laptop versions have. Although I have one for my new laptop which I use for basic work each day. I have a proper desktop PC which I use to play games and such. But expect the same technology and enhancements you see on the Core 2 Duo to be on the Pentium Dual-Core.
