It is not illegal to drive people who are drunk. In fact it is the best thing to do for a person who is drunk instead of letting the person drive his or her own vehicle while drunk. That is why "designated drivers" are important.

No, it's just one stupid decision the person made to drive with a person that has been drinking. I have a friend that did just this and he has brain damage, no life, and will die much younger than he should from his brain injuries and many medications he has to take. I also had a cousin killed in a car accident after her Grad and her sister's boyfriend was driving drunk and she tried to get him to pull over, but he got angry, sped up, hit a meridian and flipped the Jeep killing her, but the other 5 passangers were only bruised and scrapped up. If the person you are driving with is considered drunk by a police officer they will get a DUI, but you won't be charged. It's not worth it! Don't EVER get into a vehicle with a person that has had more than 2 drinks.
