No , 1995 was a redesign , so 1991 to 1994 would be more compatible

The 1996 Ford Explorer overdrive sensor can be found on the right hand side of the transmission. The overdrive sensor will be near the front of the transmission.


Starting with the 1995 Ford Explorer model the transmission is ELECTRONICALLY controlled ( so there is no vacuum modulator )
