This is a very good mix, I had a husky collie, he had shorter hair than a collie and was loving and extremely intelligent. A lot of people would agree that this mix is very good, he was protective yet very sweet. I am currently searching for another husky collie mix since.
huskies are athletic and intelligent dogs. they are affectionate with everyone but do not need to constantly pester you for attention. they are not known to be aggressive.
can huskies live in Texas?
NO huskies CAN NOT live somewhere hot. They need cool weather and shouldn't EVER be shaved. Trust me, I know.
Husky's are wonderful dogs but they need lots of exercise, preferably in the pulling arena (Skijoring, Bikjoring, Carting, Sledding etc). For the purpose you describe you would be better off with a low-energy, low-maintenance dog. A rescue would be more of a known quantity in that respect and for that reason I would hope that you would explore that avenue instead. Perhaps a service dog handler in your area could help you with the selection.
A Siberian husky can be a good guard dog. When trained properly, dogs of this breed will readily protect their families and their property.
No i don't think so. Huskies are very friendly dogs and don't bark very often. So they would probably not alarm you if there was a stranger around. Hope i helped!
Yes, any dog can be trained to be a guard dog. Just remember, guard dogs need love and support like all dogs.
Yep.
From what i know, you have train them to be a guard (Requires lots of patience) Hope this helped!
The husky. A husky is stronger and wider than a police dog when the husky has wider jaws plus bigger size. If the police dog is aggressive, then the husky would be injured.
yes
A husky is a breed of dog and is a mammal.
well an Alaskan husky is different breeds together so its a husky and another breed so it depends. I had an Alaskan husky it was a husky and a German Shepherd dog and it was really good with my kids
Well if you get a puppy you can train the puppy to be a good guard dog. Most boxers are not timid but it depends on the environment they grew up in.

beat it with sticks and if it doesnt listen to you sell it to a dog stew shop in Korea
"Police dog" is a job description, "husky" is a breed. Police dogs are chosen to do certain things, which huskies aren't known to be as good at. They're better for that purpose. If you don't have that purpose, a husky might be just as good or even better.
For me I would pick a German Shepard because they are the second most dangerous dog in the world and I would like to have a guard dog.

Siberian Huskies are said to be horrible attack dogs because they've "never met a stranger." These dogs are loving but not particularly loyal to one person as they will welcome a stranger into your house and lick them to death. To answer your question directly, a husky is not a guard dog.
Umm... depending on how you train your dog has a BIG impact on weather it can guard chickens or not. We taught mine to hunt or kill small animals such as chickens so my dog couldn't possible guard chicken without eating them. But if you train your dog to guard chickens he could guard them but there is a small possibility that it may eat the chickens since that is what it was initially bred for.
The Siberian Husky is a great hiking companion.
yes
You want your Pit to react aggressively? This really isn't a good idea. The only truly safe way to have a guard dog is to teach him to control his bite. This means training him in schutzhund or something similar.
It depends mostly upon the temperament of the dog in particular.
