Applied Bachelor Degree or BAT is a government recognized (normally) four year degree granted by Canadian colleges and Universities. (This is not to be confused with 2-3 year associate degrees offered by US schools which is equivalent to a diploma program in Canada.)
As such both are sam, there is no difference, In India it is called bachelor's of engineering/ Bachelor of technology.
For admission in india there are number of good colleges/ universities such as:
BNIT's, BIT's, COEP, NMIMS, LPU.
