Brown spotting is common after stopping Depo Provera. It will improve with time.
Brown spotting is a common side effect on Depo. Signs of pregnancy are absent periods and a positive pregnancy test.
red or brown spotting is common, but some people dont have spotting at all (there the lucky folk).
DEPO side effects will clear up within 2-3 months while pregnancy symptoms will continue. If you suspect you may be pregnant you need to have a blood test. Both cause an absence of menstruation, most women will have no menses the entire time they are on Depo (after the first few months of spotting/irregular bleeding). With pregnancy you will have nausea and breast tenderness, which are not usually present while on Depo.
Yes
Unscheduled bleeding or spotting is a common side effect of depo provera. It improves with time.
Spotting is a common side effect on Dpeo PRovera. Stress does not increase the risk of spotting on Depo Provera.
You should talk to your doc about this.. Usually if you continue to spot while on the depo, they can give you a prescription for a hormone to stop the spotting.
Yes, it could be possible. Mine was bright red at first, but the next few days it turned to brownish-red light spotting. You should take a pregnancy test.
No it doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant, especially as the depo shot is a contraceptive, it would be highly unlikely. However, if you are worried, for your own reassurane, take a pregnancy test or acquire some advise from your GP. If you've not had sex or it is unlikely for you to be pregnant at all, then blood spotting is completely normal on the depo shot, and should stop in it's own time.
Take a pregnancy test no sooner than 10 days after sex.
I don't believe so. I got one shot of the depo and bled for 9 weeks straight. The whole time I bled it was brown not a red color. It wasn't a constant bleed around the same time everyday only lasting for about 4 hours. If you have any questions about it I may beable to help. quiet_one212@yahoo.com brown discharge is not a sign that the shot is wearing off I've been on depo since i was 16 I'm now 24 years old and i don't get my period but usually at the ending of 3 months when i am due for my shot i usually will get spotting and usually have brown spotting along with it as well its just a sign that some times your period is trying to come back but usually if you get you next shot it goes away
There is no danger to the pregnancy if a women uses Depo Provera while pregnant. No punishment is necessary.
