Turn the oil filter counter clockwise to remove it. If the filter has been overtightened, drive an old screwdriver into the filter to provide leverage when turning. Be careful so that you don't drive the screwdriver into the engine block.
You should be able to remove it with your hand unless it was overtightened. In that case you will need to purchase an oil filter wrench. They come in many shapes and sizes. Your local auto parts store can assist you in choosing the correct filter wrench.
I do not believe they do. An overtightened timing belt will just be noisy. Kind of like a squeeky belt.
The filter does not have a good seal. If it is a pressurized system remove the filter clean the lines and filter clips and reinstall. If it still leaks then you may have a bad filter.
pf46e is a plastic core filter, still a good filter though
check that the O ring was replaced when oil filter was changed. id O ring is good and filter is tight, and housing still leaking, replace filter housing
for a little while you will have to do water changes offten it is always a good idea to have a filter for any fish
Yes this is a good filter.
Yes, and it can break and for sure will wear out the bearings in the alternator.
It depends on how close to the filter the waterfall is. Koi ponds can sometimes do OK with just a good UV lamp on the recirculation line from the filter to control algae.
Hopefully nothing will happen. You can get away with it here and there. The filter traps any foreign matter that might be in the engine. Chances are that the filter is still good, but change it the next time. The cost is not that much.
Because it was overtightened.
