Is it a hard job to replace a heater blower in a 1996 ford contour?

No it's actually super easy. It's located under the glove box, unplug the wires to it and twist(counter clockwise) and pull it down and you'll have it done. No screws or anything, sometimes there may be a tab you need to lift before you twist it.
