As per the Bahrain Economic Report, it is lucrative to invest in this region as the Middle East economy is booming as of now. It has a GDP of US$1.7 trillion. It is an attractive area for trade and investment especially in the financial sector, education and training, manufacturing.

This depends on which Middle Eastern countries you choose to invest in. Israel, the Persian Gulf countries, and Turkey have long-term projected growth from technology, oil wealth diversified investing, and industrialization respectively. Saudi Arabia is a good return on investment, but you may have ethical qualms about investing with a country with Saudi Arabia's politics. Iran, Iraq, and Syria are poor investment options because the former has an economy destroyed by sanctions and the latter two are involved in civil war.
