If he lied about it, then he is keeping a girl secret from you. That is cheating. Confront him with facts and ask for honesty.

If he lied about it, then you should probly question what else he has lied about. However, if he has done nothing physically with this other person, then i wouldn't consider it cheating. I guess it comes down to what your definition of "cheating" is. If he hugs someone else is that cheating?
