Might depend on the model. I have a 1990 and it was fairly easy to change the waterpump, especially since when you get a new pump, it is only HALF of the pump! The other half is made onto the block! At least it was on mine. All you have to do is take the belt loose (use a ratchet in the belt tensioner hole and you can get the belt off very easily, just pull up slightly, and put it back also) and then take out the bolts and pull off the pump housing and clean off the surfaces of the part that is on the block. Make sure you have a gasket with the new one. I used a little silicone gasket maker also. Hope this helps. I happen to have a repair manual for the 90 - 95 Luminas. I think that's the years it's for. I at least know it is for my 1990. :o)
