- It depends on the individual man. One man may have realized he had made a grave mistake and is thankful his wife is taking him back. Another man may have never cared for the mistress (it is generally all about sex in most cases and not much about love.) Yet some men may well find it difficult being forced to stop calling their mistress. When men look for a mistress part of it is something they feel is lacking in their marriage; part of it is regaining what a man feels is romance and the feeling of being attractive to another woman as well as something new such as having sex with another woman. Good communication skills are a must between married couples. It would be wise to sit together and put your hurt and disappointment in your husband aside and ask how he feels about not seeing his mistress. Then both of you should consider marriage counseling to try and save your marriage.

Good question, was it hard ? maybe for some but for others afraid not. From my personal experience the man I used to be married was more concern about his mistress because I found out what he was doing. I guess he wants to tell her to make up story if I ask her, but never did. He never afraid to call her back then, that is why he is my ex..ditto!
