yes. it is very tight on the 200 s-type 3l v6. i have the same car and had to take mine out. you need a offset box rench to get to the nuts holding the fluid lines into the pump. best done front under the car. i fixed mine temp cause the factory installed medal hose came lose. i welded it but still leaks here and there. definitly something if you dont have time or garage to do. to bring some where.
you might need to replace the steering rack
Probably the hoses for the power steering pump or fittings on the hoses. Try replacing them first. They're not that hard to replace an relatively cheap.
Check the power steering gear box-it has probably gone bad
um that is hard to say
streering is hard
replace rack and pinion and power steering pump
Could be a broken Power Steering belt or low fluid level or power steering pump failure.
The squealing could be that you need to add power steering fluid. Also you should check the belt that operates the power steering pump, if bad replace it. If the power steering pump is full and the belt is ok, then you may need to replace the power steering pump.
yes and no. with the amount of room, i rotated the motor, removed the battery, and partially removed the windshied wiper fluid resoviour. You must disconnect both hoses or the power steering pump will not come out. While you have the power steering pump out, you should replace the high pressure hose.
ball joints could be bad Did you make sure you got all the air out of the power steering system?
check the power steering fluid, also check to see if the belt is on
It is very hard to turn the steering wheel and/or a whining or squealing noise when you turn the steering wheel.
