Yes, absolutely! My family doctor did it. You can start at your home county community college. It will be an easier transition, it will be less expensive, better professor to student ratio, it is more community oriented, with more individual attention. You can start working on your prerequisites and foundational coursework. The community college is a great place to start. I started there and I am a college professor today, my family doctor started there, so all this is doable, provided you have a real passion for what you want to do.
