Is it possible to get air in the clutch fluid on a 1993 Geo Prizm making it impossible to get the car in gear?

It is very possible for this to happen--if your fluid level gets low you can get air into the system that would make it difficult if not impossible to get your car in gear. I am surprized that no one on this formum could help you out sooner. Thamks Larry Foss

Just find the cable on the transmission and look at it. The adjusting nut is where it connects to the tranny. You'll have to figure out which way to turn it for yourself.

its probable that the clutch is going and the reason why it works after you start the car back up is your giving the clutch a chance to cool "if even for a second" and the fingers on the pressure plate extend back out enough to do you some good....look into having it replaced.
