No Wet, oily deposits. Will cause weak spark and eventually misfire.Fault: worn bores/piston rings or valve guides; sometimes occurs (temporarily) during running-in period. Plugs can be re-used after a thorough cleaning. [http://www.hioutput.com/tech/plug.html See pictures] [http://www.familycar.com/Engine.htm A Short Course on Automoble Engines] Good Luck and Remember.

4-cylinders have four spark plugs, 6-cylinders have six spark plugs, 8-cylinders have eight spark plugs, etc, etc, etc
It depend on the Cylinders...For example, If a car has;4 cylinders it has 4 spark plugs6 cylinders it has 6 spark plugs8 cylinders it has 8 spark plugsSometimes there are 2 plugs per cylinder. Such as the Ford 2.3L 4 cyl has 8 plugs and the new gen Hemi's from Dodge have 16 plugs on a V8 engine.
it depends on the number of cylinders.. if 2 cylinders it has 2 spark plugs if 4 then it has 4.
If you are aware of which two cylinders are NOT firing, I would change out the spark plug wires and the spark plugs with brand new for those two cylinders. If you aren't sure which cylinders AREN'T firing, then do a complete change of new wires and spark plugs. HINT: Try not to use Bosch plugs... I did, and had all kinds of trouble with them even tho they were inexpensive and supposed to be just as good.
The number of spark plugs is determined by the number of cylinders not the number of camshafts.
spark plugs = the number of cylinders your car has. Tercel should be a 4 cylinder so 4 spark plugs.
The number of spark plugs go by how many cylinders the vehicle has. If the vehicle has 4 cylinders then there are 4 spark plugs If the vehicle had 6 cylinders then there are 6 spark plugs If the vehicle has 8 cylinders then there are 8 spark plugs This is because of what the spark plug does. See, in a combustion engine, a small amount of fuel and air is compressed in each cylinder, and it has to be ignited to combust. this is the job of the spark plug. It gives the "spark" needed to ignite the fuel/air combo to force the piston down which will turn the crankshaft, which is connected through other things to the wheels. Anyway, if the vehicle is 1.6L it should be a 4cyl vehicle, therefore 4 spark plugs.
no. a hammer is a good way to fix it
Their newest car the Veyron 16.4 has a w16 engine. 16 cylinders, 16 spark plugs
The V8. 8 plugs = 8 cylinders
that he must remove to get to spark plug rear of the cylinders
The number of spark plugs is equal to the number of cylinders... if it is a V6 there are 6, if it is an inline 4 then there are 4
they are sopose on 5%
Like any car it depends on how many cylinders the car has. If it is a 4 cylinder then it has 4 spark plugs. If it's a 6 cylinder it has 6 spark plugs. An 8 cylinder truck has 8 spark plugs
eight cylinders but uses 16 spark plugs
usually when a car runs on fewer cylinders than what it is supposed to it is a problem with either the spark plugs, the wires or the distributor cap or whatever it is called in the newer cars. ** I had the same problem , have the spark plugs changed, or just get a tune up . Car most likely needs it.
You have a V6 engine, and thus have 6 cylinders. This means 6 spark plugs.
Could be plugs and wires (spark plugs) I had a mis-fire (only 3 cylinders running) and I replaced my spark plugs and wires, and it worked. I have a 2003 Dodge Neon SE. Cheers!
Depends on the engine, the 2.0l and 2.4l options were 4 cylinders with 4 spark plugs, the 2.5 L Mitsubishi 6G73 V6 option required 6 spark plugs.
They go into the cylinders through the middle of the valve cover.
If you mean it is only running on 3 cylinders, you should check your spark plugs, spark plug wires and the distributor.
If it is a 4 cylinder it has 4, V6 then it has 6. Some 4 cylinders do have 8 plugs, Ford for instance, but not the GM 4 cylinders.
how many cylinders does it have? that's your answer
oil on the spark plugs is generally due to broken ring or rings in the cylinder or cylinders can also lead to a blown engine
The 2.5L engine has 8 plugs and it does only have 4 Cylinders...It has a dual ignition system. The 2 rear spark plugs and wires on the Driver's side are hard to get to...
