Is it cool to get plastic bags when you shop? No. It never decomposes; it just clogs up our ecosystem and plastic bags are creating dead zones in the ocean. That means no more delicious fish. Plastic bags are also made of petroleum, which is not cool politically. If you reuse bags, you get the benefit of not killing so many fish, not "consuming" any more than you have to which is better for the environment, and not using more petroleum. Paper bags are better, as they'll decompose someday if they're not in a landfill.
