follow the brake pedal up to where it connects under the dash and look there for the switch.
The brake switch is at the top of the pedal on a Peugeot 306, very difficult to get at without stripping out the whole dash panel. Somewhere on this forum an easier way has been answered or it maybe on another formum http://www.threezerosix.co.uk/home.html
