∙ 14y agoNo, the right to a trial by jury is in the Sixth and Seventh Amendments, although the Sixth Amendment is invoked more often because it pertains to criminal trials. The Seventh Amendment only applies to federal cases because this part of the Bill of Rights is unincorporated (not applied to the states). Also, the minimum "value in controversy" in federal equity suits is currently $75,000, not $20.00.
