yes theres actually two different kinds to my knowledge. its really easy to see. its just straight, no elbow like most. the front valve cover should have a hose comin out of it. follow the hose a short way up. the other end LOOks to be just a fitting but its not. that's the pcv valve. it should either slip in or screw out. that's the difference between the two. one slips in. one screws in.
The valve is in the center of the rear valve cover.
Center of the rear valve cover.
The PCV just slips out and slips in; no tools required in most cases.
Behind the engine near the firewall
Yes, it is in the hose coming off of the rear valve cover.
valve cover on the top back of engine. its on top of the plastic valve cover.
On top of the intake cover on the right side.
NO
On the 3.3 its located on the rear valve cover. Theres a hose runnin strait to it, about mid cover.
Attached to the valve cover is a hose on the driver side. Unscrew the nut closest to the valve cover and that is the PCV valve. It is a straight PCV valve, not the elbow shape you may be looking for.
On the 2.8 it's on top of the plenum at the back. disconnect the hose & unscrew the pcv valve & replace.
It might be that your pcv valve is plugged or the egr valve is sticking.
