Not much ,but yes they added bolt tabs on the passenger side for the coil to mount to and the timing chain cover has a bigger tab for one of the pulleys. And if your sticking in a 1988-89 into a new year with a automatic make sure you change the cps ring or your vehicle wont start.

There is no knock sensor on a 94 4L jeep engine. In 1991 when they changed to the 4L HO motor, they removed the knock sensor from the system.

You didn't specify size, but car block (I4, v6) usually have about 2-4L of fluid in them. About a gallon I guess.
