I'm not sure any notice is even legally required. Most Cos do it through a general notice, today email, to employees. "Dear Worker, Business sucks. No raises, no new hiring, no new benefits, please save money."
What happens when your cold hearted boss won't give you a raise.
If you are hourly/weekly paid, then give a weeks notice. An employee in a factory would give this length of notice. An office worker, on a monthly salary, would probably give a month's notice. A lot depends on the terms and conditions of your employment.
It is if the contract allows that.
Give advance notice of one month or pay one months salary.
Contracts will always deal with notice issues. There is no legal minimum of holiday pay - it is unregulated.

In the US, most states operate on an "at-will" employment, where either party can break the employment relationship. Unless there has been a signed and legal contract stating the terms of employment and severing that employment, 12 weeks notice is not considered normal. In general, its common to give 2 weeks notice when leaving an employer, but this is not a legal requirement.
When the legal proceedings have started, then things are under the supervision of the Court. Court's directions only are to be observed.
