In my search for a repair manual for my S80, I found an outfit in California that sells one. But the guy said, "You had better be sure you need it, because it is a library of 6-7 books...and the price is around $700! I GUESS Volvo DOESN'T WANT BACKYARD MECHANICS WORKING ON THEIR CARS.
To replace the oil trap on your Volvo, please consult your owners manual. There should be a guide in there to help you with this repair.
I believe every model of Volvo is available with a manual transmission.That is not entirely true. Smaller model (C30, c40) do have a manual transmission options. Higer end models (S60, S80) do not (as of 2009 models). for the S80, for example, you get a 6 speed Geartronic transmission, that's it, no options.
