it should come out easily.
push the offending axle inward so you can see the retaining clip and remove it. then pull the axle out of the housing. repeat on other side.
you have to remove the "spider" shaft first or the axles cannot be pushed inward (it is in the way)
Often, the spider shaft is held in with a little screw that has an elongated point or shaft. remove it completely and the spider shaft should slide out. the do the axles.
Front axle nut should be a 35mm.
36mm
103 ft/lbs
It should be mounted to the frame over the drivers side rear axle.
o'reilly auto parts says 103 foot lbs.
Where is evap canister located on a 1996 chevy s10 blazer? It should be found above the rear axle on the drivers side, mounted to the inside of the frame rail.
Should be a 35mm.
The question is to vague, more details please.
You have to open the differential and remove the retaining pin from the spider gear to remove the axle shaft.
The front axle nut on the 4+4 should be 35mm. You can use a 1 3/8" deep socket but it will fit tight. On my 2000 Chevy s-10 the Nut was 36MM. The socket I bought at advanced auto says right on the package for GM axle nuts.
yes you can. pretty much every chevy trans has the same bolt patern. you will just need a transfer case that will bolt up with a passenger drop for the front axle.
The rear axle nut size is 1 3/8" according to my Haynes manual. The front axle nut can be removed with a pair of channel lock pliars as shown in the Haynes manual.
