1995 VW Jetta Celebration Edition and at night the dash lights do not light up so you can see the speedometer or the tachometer The clock and the mileage lights are on but nothing else?

This is a common problem with the Celebration Edition (or so I'm told). There is a small array of lights around the edge of the display and when they go out, you need to basically remove the dash to replace them. The part is about fifteen bucks, but the labor is 2-300. Awesome.
