I am a Horticulturist in CT. OTA Farms just pulled my resume' & sent an offer for employment. Before I respond I am trying to find more info on this group as well. I want to protect myself from Identity Theft before responding to this email. Sent from Oadi77@Yahoo.com. This email was listed as belonging to to a member of an Agri based group reasearching plant & seed renovation. Shall post more info as it is avail. There is a farm called Ota in Nigeria belonging to the former president of Nigeria. I am also looking for more details about it for the same reason as above. My email address is chamali.agri@yahoo.com -- There are many farms in Ota- it's an industrial city, but there's still a lot of farming that goes on in the area. The former president's farm is called Obasanjo Farms, I used to live next to it. I wouldn't worry about identity theft.. the main risk is falling for a scam. Have you had any contact with these people before? Bringing an expatriate worker into Nigeria can be expensive, and it's unlikely that a legitimate company would just randomly offer you a job without talking to you first. Don't send any money. If they're representing themselves as the former president's farm, but are calling themselves Ota Farms, they're almost certainly a scammer as nobody calls Obasanjo Farms that.
