I just changed out a transmission in my 1995 Suzuki Sidekick, and I have the torque converter in my garage from the transmission I got from the junk yard. Should be good, and you could have it if you want to drive to St. Louis to pick it up. But call around to the local junk yards. Most of them pull out the transmissions from any vehicles they get in that have been crashed. It took me a couple phone calls, but found one the first day I looked.
the hood release lever is in the glove box...then opens like any other vehicle
On my 93 suzuki sidekick the check engine light came on at exactly 120000 miles. It can be reset if you take your drivers side speaker out you'll find a switch in there to reset it.If the problem occurs again then you probably have a real problem. If you vehicle is not running any different then I wouldn't be that concerned.
not easy. idle is the last thing that works correctly on any EFI motor. i recommend joining our experts on our forum and ask there. interactive , is the only way to discuss this complex subject. first , you must tell us the motor type. 8v or 16 valves. they are night and day in the idle department. http://www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-sidekick-escudo-vitara-geo-tracker/
My first guess would be that you have a sizable vacuum leak some where... Check to see if you can find any vacuum hoses that have disconnected or that may be cracked or split.
Contact your local wrecking yard as they have cross-over books.
Visit www.ahdol.com. For a small fee they can link you to just about ANY automotive wiring diagram you would ever need. Jerry
94 Suzuki Sidekick I hear electrical misfiring on and off right under the dashbord by streering colum left side any ideas?
I do not own a sidekick, so therefore I don't own a sidekick accessory. But if you need accessories, you can find them at any electronics store near you.
Suzuki logos may be found at Suzuki dealerships on any Suzuki vehicle, or at any dealership that sells Suzuki vehicles. Most motorcycle dealerships would have Suzuki on their lot. For a general picture of a Suzuki logo look for an image on the internet.
The Suzuki X-90 was manufactured and sold from 1995 to 1997. Since any available for purchase would be used, the price would vary depending on the mileage on the car and the condition of the car. The average price for a used Suzuki X-90, in good shape, is in the range of $1000 and up.
