Answer Not really. This is why the foundation of religion is faith of things not seen. Answer Just look around the environment in which you exist; the complexity of nature, the universe, etc. The possibility of this occurring by chance is the same as a wind blowing through a junk yard, and after everything comes down, you have a fully functional 747 aircraft. It takes more faith to believe there is no God then it takes to believe there is one.

It is not that man does not have the ability to believe, but it really is an unwillingness to believe for a variety of reasons (like accountability).

There is also proof in the Higgs boson and how the large hadron collider found it

Answer

Yes, there is proof in everything, everywhere. God said that he is in everything, and there is one thing that is in everything. In fact it's what everything is made of: energy. Matter is simply energy condensed and everything in between as well as the deep nothingness of space is energy, and as much as we may learn or hypothesize we do not know how it all (that which you, me, and everything else are made of) got here. The fact that the amount of energy that resides within this universe is the same as it was millions and billions of years ago (the law of the conservation of energy) seems as if a higher power left it here for us to consist of and to use. I look at it as a "finger print", so to speak, of God. There are many 'soft' evidence supporting the existence of God, but not 'hard' evidence as measurements in a laboratory. Love, altruism, people giving their lives for higher-essence ideas (like freedom, dignity etc) are all strong indications that there is something more in the world than electrons and protons. The fact that we everyday struggle to get out of our physical body and grow spiritually must mean something. The fact that you like poetry, that we write, that we create, that we read, that we may cry when we hear an old favourite song certainly do not comply with a world without any purpose and without anything spiritual in it. We do not have any physically proof of god. There is no concrete evidence, and I doubt that god will ever be proven. If there was no God then there would be no reason to live because there would be no God to create an afterlife. If there was no afterlife one would live his/her life and then die. Even if you had a great accomplished life, with no afterlife it does no good. People are still talking about Alexander the great thousands of years after his death but if there is no afterlife it does Alexander the Great no good. But one would argue that that's not really proof. One only needs to ask himself a few questions to be pretty sure of the exsistence of God. Where did this universe start from? Even science says matter cannot be created in natural processes, only changed so there has to be an ultimate creator of it all. Also, why would this creator who can create an endless universe want with us? The only thing He could get from us is our love and worship. That is exactly what he wants from us. Furthermore, we know that certain glands and stuff make us cry or laugh and feel happy or sad but why would that be necessary to our survival. I believe the answer is that it isn't necessary. It is a quality that we get from our Creator. That is why it says in The Bible that we were made in God's image.

Answer well there isn't proof. There is more proof he is fake than real. There are theories to how the universe was created like The Big Bang Theory. Airplanes fly all over the clouds in the earth..but where is heaven? no where. because its not real. And humans werent created by some magical dude, we evolved. That's why humans DNA is 97% related to a chimpanzee because we evolved from a species of chimp or ape or monkey whatever it is. The Earth has been scientifically proven to be around 4.3 billion years old and humans werent around since then, we have only been around a million years. And if there is a God why is he in human form? There were billions of different species of animals before us, so why would he be in the form of a human and not some bacteria, one of the first living things? If he is in human form why would he "create" humans 4.299 billion years later? Why not create people of your figure right then and now? Also no, God didnt make you, people learn how people are made through sex education. Also if there is a God wouldn't he want people to live in peace and harmony and happiness? Look at the world. There are starving people in Africa and many diseases. There is genocide in Africa and the Middle East. Dont you think God would come down from heaven and say "knock off all this fighting"?! And there are basically three reasons for war. Religion being the biggest. Then land and race. So if there was a God I think he would be smart enough to maybe stay on Earth and help humans. Or even just "pop in" every once and a while and say hey im real heres some proof. And do a little godly work.

A:No, there is no proof that God exists, nor can there be proof. Believers must reduce the argument to a discussion of faith, or must use the circular reasoning such as "The Bible is true because God said it" and "God must be real because it's in the Bible." That is not proof God is real.

Answer:

In the quest for "proof that God is real"... one way to go about it is to explore it from the theoretical evolutionary perspective.

In the preface of one 1960's college text [Civilization: Present and Past, Vol.1; Wallbank and Taylor], we read:

"Our own galaxy, which we remember is but a tiny part of the universe, has probably existed for a million, million years.

"But some progress has been made in attempting to explain how and when the sun and its nine planets came into being. The study of the solar system gives us at least a clue to the origin of that part of the universe most important to us - the earth.

"The explanation commonly accepted today is called the Hypothesis of Dynamic Encounter, formulated about 1900 by T.C. Chamberlain and F. R. Moulton of the University of Chicago. In brief it suggests that our solar system had its birth when the sun was approached by another huge star. The latter, through the operation of the law of gravitation, detached from the sun great masses of flaming gases. The orphan masses from the parent sun gradually cooled and crystallized to become the nuclei of planets. These continued to revolve around the sun, held in their orbits by the gravitational pull of the parent body.

"The evolution of the earth to its present state was very gradual."

{End of preface quote}

The entire preface is quoted for a special reason... just to grasp this one example of "proof that God is real."

Notice the bold-highlighted words throughout. The bottom line of the preface is saying "WE GUESS." In this text's evolutionary explanation of things, it carefully begins with a number of "possibilities" and "perhapses"... then begins to tell of definite past ocurrences which are "said to have taken place."

In so doing... the first PROOF THAT GOD IS REAL is clouded from our view. In the writers' "attempts to explain, their clues, and their guesses... they admit the existence of the solar system; the "sun"... "another huge star"... the "operation of the law of gravitation"... great "masses of flaming gas"... and admit that these gases "gradually cooled."

The writers speak of "crystalization" and being held in their orbits by the "gravitational pull" of the parent body.

Here is a tremendous, limitless, imagination-defying expanse -- an entire universe -- with untold numbers of solar systems operating under certain, definite, immutable, unchangeable LAWS! Laws of heat, light, energy, motion, the rotation of astral bodies, the laws of gravity, the principles of isostasy, which demands that every orbital body must gradually assume and maintain a near-round shape, and myriad other laws, too many to list, are "admitted to exist" by proponents of evolution.

But, they, like the writers of this text book of higher-learning, ignore the initial fact throughout their theories, that the existence of LAW, unchangeable, immutable, irrevocable, unseen and yet active ABSOLUTELY DEMANDS the existence of a GREAT LAWGIVER.

"There is one LAWGIVER, who is able to save and to destroy..." (James 4:12).

And that Lawgiver is GOD.

Sometimes, the "proof that God is real" lies in the "willingness of a person to SEE the proof"... and to simply "believe" it.

To be sure... evolution, with all of its theories and guesses, hasn't proved God isn't real.

It is very hard to look for long at the world and not wonder just what intelligent force made it. All creation testifies to a wonderful God of love and infinite beauty.

There is no way of telling if God exists... but if you are a Christian, Catholic, etc. you just need to believe he is real. The bible is a good source of info

Answer:

While theists point to their belief system as proof of a god, there is no defendable scientific evidence of any deity or supernatural realm. To represent proof evidence must be demonstrable, repeatable and not subject to the opinion of the system or person doing the testing. Many proofs of the existence of god rely on fallacious arguments and are not defendable.

No. If you think about it, god would have stopped chaos. People give him full credit for everything. What about hurricanes? Could he have stopped it ''with how mighty he is?'' Its all just one big joke, honestly.

If god was real, he would have helped us. Plus do you really think 5 pieces of bread can be split into 100 pieces and make 100 people full? That's just nonsense. People go around claiming ''He's the best.''

If he's really real then why did he make bad people. Why didn't he stop them? He could've punished them, if he's really mighty and powerful. Then people claim if we break these 10 commandments, that we will never go to heaven. You don't go anywhere. There is no proof. Your ashes are spread or your buried.

Nothing. Period.

Answer 2

Yes God is real but is hard to prove God exists and it is also hard to prove God doesn't exist. This is something that people have talked about for centuries.

Science which denies the existence of a spiritual world, argues that a big bang created everything in the universe but evolution cannot explain how even the basics of life (proteins, DNA) were made. It takes a lot more faith to believe something came from nothing (evolution) than to believe a spiritual being made our material world.

If you want to encounter the true and living God, you'll find him revealed in the Bible.

Answer 3

  • The universe has definite design, order, and arrangement which cannot be sufficiently explained outside a theistic worldview. (This is how Abraham, without benefit of teachers, came to reject the chaotic world-view of idolatry and the possibility of Atheism). For example, theoretical physicist and popular science writer Paul Davies (whose early writings were not especially sympathetic to theism) states concerning the fundamental structure of the universe, "the impression of design is overwhelming" (Davies, 1988, p. 203). From the complexities of the human eye to the order and arrangement of cosmology, the voice of God is heard. God's existence is the best explanation for such design. God is the designer.
  • The laws of the universe seem to have been set in such a way that stars, planets and life can exist. Many constants of nature appear to be finely tuned for this, and the odds against this happening by chance are astronomical. Professor Russel Stannard (a particle physicist) states: "The universe has been bent over backwards in order that intelligent life should exist...must have known we were coming."
  • The glaring lack of transitional fossils has been noted by the evolutionists themselves, such as this statement from the famous paleontologist and evolutionist George G. Simpson; quote: "The regular lack of transitional fossils is not confined to primates alone, but is an almost universal phenomenon."
"To the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation" (Corner, E.J.H., Contemporary Botanical Thought).
  • "Nine-tenths of the talk of evolutionists is sheer nonsense, not founded on observation and wholly unsupported by facts. This museum is full of proofs of the utter falsity of their views. In all this great museum, there is not a particle of evidence of the transmutation of species" (Dr. Etheridge, Paleontologist of the British Museum).
"To postulate that the development and survival of the fittest is entirely a consequence of chance mutations seems to me a hypothesis based on no evidence and irreconcilable with the facts. It amazes me that this is swallowed so uncritically and readily, and for such a long time, by so many scientists without murmur of protest" (Sir Ernest Chain, Nobel Prize winner).
  • The fact that you need DNA to make DNA. No genetic code can be demonstrated to have arisen by chance, together with the ability to read that code and carry out its instructions. Information does not arise spontaneously; and there is an incredible amount of information in even the tiniest cell.
"A living cell is so awesomely complex that its interdependent components stagger the imagination and defy evolutionary explanations" (Michael Denton, author).
"The astounding structural complexity of a cell" (U.S. National Library of Medicine).
Concerning a single structure within a cell: "Without the motor protein, the microtubules don't slide and the cilium simply stands rigid. Without nexin, the tubules will slide against each other until they completely move past each other and the cilium disintegrates. Without the tubulin, there are no microtubules and no motion. The cilium is irreducibly complex. Like a mousetrap, it has all the properties of design and none of the properties of natural selection" (Michael Behe, prof. of biophysics).

The tradition of Creation by God goes all the way back to the first man, passed down in an uninterrupted chain of teachers and disciples, and recorded in the Torah by Moses (Deuteronomy 31:24) at God's dictation (Exodus 24:12).

No, there is no physical proof that God exists, only tradition.

Blaise Pascal recognised the impossibility of proving God exists, so he devised 'Pascal's Wager'. He said that belief in God is the most rational choice due to the consequences of being wrong. This is not proof that God exists, but acknowledgement that he may not exist. Indeed, the argument can be reversed in some cases and used to argue for non-belief.

Why are so many people religious when there is no proof of God?

People are often drawn to religion for a sense of community, purpose, comfort, and hope. Faith provides a framework for understanding the world and coping with life's challenges, even in the absence of concrete evidence. Additionally, spiritual experiences and personal beliefs can be deeply meaningful to individuals, influencing their belief in a higher power.

Are atheists corrrect?

The existence of God cannot be proven. However, the non-existence of God also cannot be proven. "An absence of proof does not equal a proof of absence" Therefore those who insist there IS a God and those who insist there IS NO God are equally correct, as both are taking the matter on faith and nothing else. Only Agnostics are correct as they hold that the existence of a Diety may or may not be true, but cannot be known without actual, rational, physical proof.

How do you know that God is real?

You and me are proof that God is real. Just like an Apple computer is proof of the existence of Apple corporation, the Samsung mobile is proof of Samsung, the Mercedes car is proof of Mercedes, and every product is proof of the manufacturer, you and me are proof that God exists. We don't know who is God, where is God, what is God, God is beyond human comprehension, but God is. You and me are the effects, God is the cause. What is the proof of the ocean? The waves. If there was no ocean, there would be no waves. If there was no God, there would be no you and me. What is the proof of gold? The gold ring, the gold necklace, the gold bangle. If there was no gold there would be no necklace, ring and bangle. These are effects, gold is the cause. The Divine is the cause, we are just effects. We need no more proof that we are manifestations of God
