Is thousand eyes restrict relinquished thousand eyes idol polymerisation and dark illusion ritual the best combination to have in your deck?

First of all everyone's opinion of "the best" is different, including mine. (Also if you're playing by the Advance Format, Thousand Eyes Restrict is banned.) As for the best combination, I would have to say it is definitely not the best compared to many others. What's more important is wither Thousand Eyes Restrict (TER) or Relinquised (and the rest) would inhibit or aid your winning strategy. If your deck is about stalling and burning your opponent, TER and Relinquised would be useful with their effects. But if you have a deck centered around attacking, TER wouldn't help since other monsters can't attack, or if your deck is trying to deplete your opponent's hand, what's the point of having either TER or Relinquished? Look at Yugioh strategies and deck resources like forums, Yugioh Wikia, metagame.com, etc. for advice.

Why is thousand eyes restrict banned?
In Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, the card "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" was banned due to its effect. Thousand-Eyes Restrict can, like the ritual card "Relinquished", equip the opponent's monster cards to itself and gain their ATK and DEF. But unlike Relinquished, Thousand-Eyes Restrict has the ability to prevent any other monster card from attacking or changing battle position (excluding itself). In spite of this, Thousand-Eyes Restrict can only be destroyed by the effect of a spell or trap card, or monster effect like that of Exiled Force. This normally makes it incredibly difficult to be beaten and thus it was banned. (Monster Card + Black Illusion Ritual = Relinquished Relinquished + Thousand-Eyes Idol + Polymerization = Thousand-Eyes Restrict) One other reason for it being banned was how easily it could be summoned via Metamorphosis and a sheep token from Scapegoat.

It depends. I have relinquished and black luster soldier in my deck. Relinquished is very easy to ritual summon because it only has one star. if your monster has between 1 and 4, I would say around 4 max. If your monster has between 5 and 8 stars, I would suggest 3 max. If its between 8 and 12 then I would suggest 2, 'cause I f its for a fusion,(e.g my B.L.S is for Dragon Master Knight, and my relinquished is for Thousand Eyes Restrict.) but you have to watch out for banned cards if your going to a tornament (i only say-so because relingished is a banned monster and so is thousand eyes restrict)
