It will spill?
Remove the dip-stick (the long metal piece that you check the fluid with) use a small holed funnel to add the fluid in this hole. Pour slow to not spill.
The simplest approach is to siphon the transmission fluid from the fill tube. There are several reasonably priced hand pumps on the market that will do the task. You will get about two quarts of fluid out of a warmed up transmission. Be sure to get the correct transmission fluid from a Kia or Hyundi dealer. Save the receipts for warranty purposes. There is a transmission drain plug under the transmission but its placement is difficult to reach as it is situated over a frame member. Also removing this plug will spill fluid all over you and the garage floor.
the effect of oil spills is that it kills animals .such as birds and it can harm humans
Find the transmission dipstick, which is usually brightly colored and toward the back of the engine. Remove the dipstick, being careful not to spill or drip any fluid. Wipe off the dipstick with a clean rag, just as you would do when checking the engine oil.
No. Unfortunately, the transmission fluid level can only be checked by jacking the car up perfectly level, and then opening the overflow valve and filling with trans. fluid until it starts to spill out.
I think you mean "... until the seal is replaced", If so, it's so you don't spill trans fluid all over the roadways and cause a hazard for other vehicles.
automatic? check transmission fluid, running .the check plug is behind the shift cable.should spill out when engine is warm
there is a 17mm bolt on the front side of the transmission you need to take that off then use a gear oil pump and pump fluid into the trans. It is Fill to Spill. Be sure the car is level and fill till it begins to drip out the fill hole.
if you mean what animals are dying from the oil spill it is seals mostly that are dying
Vehicle needs to be cool, and your arm will probably get scratched removing the pump's cap. Use a transmission fluid filler funnel, and remember that the funnel holds a lot of fluid--fluid will probably spill during the filling process.
there was about 425 animals killed in the oil spill
