Lost the keyless entry transmitter for your Ford Mustang 1995 then if a friend had one for a Ford Ranger and gave it to you cause its not in use how can you program it for mine or if it would work?

Try turning the key from Off to On without starting engine 7 times door should lock and unlock if so, push lock button on remote that may program it for your car
