Blown head gasket, cracked head, busted piston, etc. Run a compression check on all cylinders.
A bad fuel pump can cause stalling. The oil pressure will show low oil on the lights or gauges but if the pressure is ok then the switch should not cause stalling.
Damage of the blades of the compressor ,cauesd due high angles of pressure ,caused by air flow is called stalling of a compressor
It could be because of the oil level or overheating due to the radiator dis functioning check all of those and the fuel pump
Could be the Fuel Pressure Regulator
A fuel rail pressure regulator could cause trouble.
Yes the fuel pressure regulater will cause stalling and a few more things too ..like back fire, sputtering, and in some cases they squirt gas all over the engine. good luck Ed....(mrjunky)
Noisy fuel pump, stalling, or engine will not start and you have no fuel pressure.
Rough idle, low injector pressure Sputtering stalling. lack of power
stalling, but not often?
I have changed the fuel pump on my 1993 Pontic Bonneville, it still is stalling any clues why? could be Fuel Pressure Regulator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKtR_yF7bi8&feature=related
My Understanding for stalling protection When the motor is overloaded or the Stalling or locking the rotor overheat generated , due the presence the stalling protection operates.
When my steering caused stalling, the fluid level was low. Filling might fix it. There is sometimes a shut off under the powersteering pump for pressure control that goes bad when the pump is bad. Mary
