It could be because of the oil level or overheating due to the radiator dis functioning check all of those and the fuel pump

My Chevy truck doesn't stall. It actually runs very good because I take good care of it and do a weekly inspection of fluid levels including the rear axle.

On My '97 3.9l I have a Idle Air Control Solenoid on the back side of the throttle body It has a plunger with a mushroom shaped end on it. It is held on by 2 Allen head screws. My truck kept stalling and not triggering the check engine light. I cleaned the carbon off of it once and the truck seemed O.K. then it started stalling again and I ended up replacing it. So far so good.
