NO Brake Lights or Turn Signals

Because neither brake light nor turn signals work, it is unlikely that it's due to burnout of all of the bulb filaments at the same time.

Without doing a "hands on troubleshooting" of the circuits involved no one can tell you what specific defect is causing the problem.

However, here are some of the possible causes you need to check for:

  • The fuses for those circuits have "blown."
  • Brake light switch mounting is not properly adjusted.
  • A connector plug somewhere in the circuit (s) has become "unplugged," or loose.
  • A conductor [wire] somewhere in the circuit has been cut, broken, "pinched," or pulled apart.
  • Corrosion has occurred inside any one or more of the connector plugs, or at any connection/splice/ground, in the circuit. Corrosion can "block" the flow of electrical current just the same as if a wire were cut.
  • The brake light and turn signal switches have become defective [this is usually the "last" thing to fail, and in this case very highly unlikely].

There are probably a few more that I can't think of now. Good luck!

Assuming the signal lights still work, no. But a bad brake light switch or a blown brake light fuse could.

If the turn signal is working it's either the brake light switch or the turn signal switch.

When my running lights are working on my trailer my turn signal lights and brake lights don't work but if running lights are off turn signal and brake lights work?

I would check the running lights for one with a short. I had the same sort of thing with my trailer and I spent way to much time troubleshooting the brake and signal wires. Turns out a running light bulb connector was grounding out on the trailer and messing it all up.

Why would the brake signal and hazard lights stop working simultaneously in a caprice?

Bad bulbs? Sockets corroded?

98 Tahoe no brake lights changed the brake switch still no brake lights and now the hazered lights not working at a lost on what to do?

If the fuses and bulbs are okay I would blame the signal switch assembly. They call it a multi-function switch these days.
