∙ 16y agoThere are 2 separate flashers.jd
hazards and turn signals have separate flashers. replace flasher for turn signals
one of the lights is not working
the location of the hazard lights is on top of the steering colum.
Your car has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The one for the turn signals is defective and needs replacing. It is located on the drivers side, under the dash, on the drivers side of the steering column, behind the dash lower panel, mounted at the base of the fuse panel.
check light bulbs in both lights
The hazard switch itself is bad. The flasher module for the turn signal is built into it. Replace it yourself for 100 dollars(cost of part).
Check the fuse
it is most likely a fuse or at worst the turn signals and stop lights work through the turnsignal switch
It has a flasher relay for the signals only.
Check the fuses first. Is sounds like there is a power failure to the light system. There could also be a broken wire to the fuse box.
my 98 suburban did the same thing. when i changed my headlight switch that turns them off and on, they started working again.
