My 1986 camaro iroc 305 has no spark I changed the cap and roter and coil still no spark?

if you changed the distributor cap and rotor it could possibly be your coil or the pick up in the distributor. you have to check and see if the rotor in the distributor turns when you try to crank it over. or you might want to check your timing chain.
Answerchanged the distributor it was the little magnet that's around the shaft on the inside thankyou JESUS for the help didint get any herechk your igintion module most parts stores can test them

On your 89 camaro you have changed the plugs cap and rotor and it still not tunning over What else could it be?
Are you getting spark?Could be Ignition module, pick-up coil, coil...
What else can you check for if you already changed the whole distributor and there is still no spark?

Just a thought. If the rotor broke, could it have caught in the cap and turned your distributor and put the engine out of timing? Check the condition of the cap and the contacts inside it,\.

I have a 99 Sable with the OHV 3.0 liter. I have the same problem. Things I have changed so far: the engine computer or (PCM) , the crankshaft position sensor, and the ignition coil.
