Since it's probably a two dollar problem, it shouldn't be an issue.
If it is, it would come down to whether the mechanic was careless or there was something wrong with the lug.

Wrong pulley. Get a correct pulley from the dealer. You will have to drill a hole in the bolt of the proper size then insert the e-z out in the hole and turn it with a wrench to remove the bolt. as a last resort the bolt can be drilled out then new threads inserted in the engine by a device known as a helicoil. This may have to be done at a garage by a mechanic.
