everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional manual available...in the reference section, you'll have to make copies of the important sections...good luck :)

The dealer scan tool is required to program a remote.
You have to take your remote to the dealer. Kia will not let you program the remote by yourself.
This vehicle requires a scan tool to program the remote, a dealer or locksmith will have to do it.
With a VAG-COM, or get the dealer to do it.
I found a remote for my 1997 Grand Cherokee on Ebay. type in the number "05014736". The remote if for the newer generation Grand Cherokee, but I took it to the dealer, and they programmed it for free.
You have to program it with a DRB (Scan tool).
I had the same problem. Google "keyless entry remote 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee".
I am pretty positive that only a Chevy dealer can program the remote keyless entry device for you.
