Drain the oil and remove the filter. Install a new filter and add 5 quarts. Start the engine and run for 45 seconds. Shut off and let sit for 45 minutes. Check the level and add until it is full. If it is already full it holds 5 quarts. If you have to add 1 quart it holds 6. My guess would be 5 although some 351 Ford engines do hold 6.
